Chris Roe of Roe Hunting Resources joins me in episode 12. The idea was to spend an hour or two talking western turkey hunting. Well, we immediately got off track and have a great discussion about hunting elk, living in the backcountry in Colorado, and different elk hunting resources people should look into to include his website, Roe Hunting Resources.
We then turn the tide back to turkey hunting. In this segment, we go deep when it comes to types of turkey calls, calling techniques, hunting strategies, and different types of turkeys. We discuss western turkey hunting on public land, mostly the Merriam turkeys.
