With summer just around the corner, many folks are gearing up to head into the woods for some camping. Over the last several years, I've noticed many newcomers to camping. Many new campers struggle to get the full level of enjoyment out of camping due to a lack of experience.

This episode will hope to alleviate some of those struggles. Whether you're a tent camper or pulling a fifth wheel into the woods, we talk about some basic information from towing, campsite selection, setting up your campsite, finding the right firewood, safety items that all campers should know, and some sound camping etiquette to keep in mind on your adventure. I finish with a top secret camping breakfast burrito recipe sure to put a smile on your face!

If you're camping to hunt, recreate, fish, or swim, the basics covered in this episode will help you prepare for spending time with enjoyment in a dry, primitive camp area. Designated, paid campground campers can also benefit from this information!

Enjoy this episode! Let me know if there are more topics related to camping you'd like me to cover in the future by emailing me at jim@thewesternhuntsman.com
